Legacy of Giving
Over $5 million raised for Cystic Fibrosis, $3 million through Charity of Hope for underprivileged youth, and more than 5,000 children educated annually in Haiti.

Cystic Fibrosis Research
What began as a conversation with a franchise partner whose granddaughter was battling cystic fibrosis became a lifelong mission. Sam Mercanti committed himself to the cause and has since helped raise over $5 million for Cystic Fibrosis Canada, directly supporting groundbreaking research and treatment advancements across the country.

Education in Haiti
Moved by the need for access to education, Sam and his wife Roma became champions for children in Haiti. Their ongoing support has led to the construction of schools and programs that now provide education for over 5,000 children annually—a legacy of compassion that continues to change lives year after year.

Sam’s Book for a Cause
Through Charity of Hope, Sam Mercanti has helped raise over $3 million to support underprivileged children across Hamilton and beyond—providing school programs, scholarships, and critical aid. His passion for giving continues through his memoir, with 100% of proceeds donated to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
